Sample Commission Pricing

The Process

  1. Contact Erika at Custom Artwork Studio with your request.

  2. Client and artist will then explore and discuss the idea of artwork that is being requested. This includes discussing the style, size of work, mood, and personal photo reference if applicable.

  3. A retainer of 50% will reserve a place in the artist's schedule and will guarantee the completed price as quoted. This retained is applied to the final balance of the commission and is only refundable if the artist is unable to complete the commissioned art due to circumstance incurred by the artist.

  4. Artist will create a mock-up/draft composition based upon the discussed concept requirements for client to review.

  5. Completion of artwork will vary depending on current commission schedule, technical involvement, and size of work being commissioned. The estimated completion date will be discussed prior to client paying the 50% retainer to make sure it fits the clients needs and schedule. 

  6. A high-quality image of your finished artwork will be provided for approval.

  7. The completed work will be ready for shipment upon receipt of final payment, shipping cost, and applicable framing.

This is just a sample for pricing structure. Any/all projects will be discussed for all budgets.
